Abstract: |
This embodiment provides for a portable, easily-assembled, modular
background set that can be used in television studios, theatre stages,
and tradeshow booths, to name a few, and for displays in other settings,
such as retail stores, physician's offices, and the like, that is,
wherever information needs to be displayed. According to this embodiment,
an apparatus and method for providing said background set or display
comprises a plurality of base structures; a plurality of outer and inner
collapsible corrugated plasticboard sleeves; a plurality of supporting
frames; a hanger system; an elastic cord stabilizing system; and a
collapsible backdrop system. These components are assembled from a very
compact, collapsed, disassembled state in a quick and easy manner, with
no special tools, to create a professional set or display that can be
used in a plurality of different venues.
