Title: |
Removable LED Module with Rotated LED Emitter Groups |
Abstract: |
An LED module and luminaire are provided. The LED module includes an LED
circuit board having an array of LEDs powered by an electrical connector.
The array of LEDs includes two or more pluralities of LEDs. The LEDs of a
first plurality are rotated relative to the LEDs of a second plurality.
The rotation amount is not an integer multiple of 90.degree.. The LEDs of
the first plurality are not rotated relative to each other, and the LEDs
of the second plurality are not rotated relative to each other. The LED
module can be removed from an optical system of the luminaire by
electrically uncoupling the LED circuit board and mechanically uncoupling
the LED module from the luminaire without removing other elements of the
optical system from the luminaire.
