An aerial movement system for supporting an object that includes main
reels with associated motors and support lines and an auxiliary reel with
an associated motor and auxiliary line wherein upon failure of the main
reels, the auxiliary reel switches from a first mode of operation to a
second mode of operation. The auxiliary line may also be capable of
transmitting data from the object to a computer.
