Abstract: |
A lighting assembly including a plurality of LED light sources and a
light-guide assembly with a plurality of light guides each having a
proximal end terminating in a recess and a distal end, a mating cap
coupled to the proximal end of the plurality of light guides and aligning
each recess with a corresponding LED light source in the plurality of LED
light sources, and a light-emitting lens with a receiving surface coupled
to the distal end of each of the plurality of light guides and able to
transfer light emitted from the distal end of each of the plurality of
light guides into the light-emitting lens and a curved light-emitting
surface opposite the receiving surface, the light-emitting surface able
to emit light from within the light-emitting lens, the light within the
light emitting lens being a blend of light emitted from two of the
plurality of light guides.
