| Abstract: |
Folding display panels for large-format displays. In an example, the
folding display panels are electrically connected by a power cable and a
data cable that respectively include a data wire and power wire, and each
cable includes a fixed-length section attached at one end to a movable
member. When folding adjacent display panels face-to-face, the movable
member moves so that the fixed-length section remains taut. Slack in the
data wire and power wire accommodate the movement of the corresponding
fixed-length section. A column of display panels can be z-folded for
compact storage and can be rapidly deployed to form a large-format
display.
