| Abstract: |
A method for controlling a multisource illumination device in gated
optical system is provided. A plurality of light sources is divided into
groups, and wherein each group is characterized by a respective radial
distance from a primary optical axis. Therein, the dimming level of a
group is controlled independently from the dimming level of other groups
based on the radial distance of the group from the primary optical axis.
