Abstract: |
A color-tunable lighting device and method is disclosed. The device
includes a lighting component that has a first lighting element having a
warm color temperature, and a second lighting element having a cool color
temperature. The first and second lighting elements, together, have a
combined color temperature and a combined lumen output. The device
further includes a controller configured to apply a first power input to
the first lighting element and a second power input to the second
lighting element wherein the combined color-temperature of the first
lighting element and the second lighting element may be tuned to a
desired color temperature at a desired combined lumen output of the
lighting component.
